What did I do wrong ?

I dont know what to do guys. What happened yesterday (17th Feb 2009) was of utmost shock to me. I still cant make out what is so wrong in giving a birthday card to a girl in the college. Seriously why did she make a big scene about it and asked her mother to call me ? I am terribly depressed by what happened yesterday. I don't know what to say, Think about somebody you love the most. Think of that person talking to you so rudely and you don't even want to shout at that person knowing that it will hurt her.

Let me ask you some thing if a person you forgot 3 years ago greets you one fine day and does something special for you would you at least smile at him ?
